Shire Hall was the first (and only) club I've played for. I'd never played full contact rugby before but thought I'd give it a go at the age of 24. Everyone was really friendly, welcoming, and helped me develop my technique. 5 seasons later I've never looked back. I had assumed all clubs were like this but based of some of the guy's other experiences there are different club environments up and down the country that aren't as positive... I just landed on my feet.
At home to Littlemore, unbeaten league leaders and their last game of the season. We managed to turn them over against the run of play by taking our chances and scuppering their perfect season, securing a third place league finish in the process. The beer ran freely then evening I can tell you.
