Berkshire Shire Hall RFC continued fortifying their position in the BBO championship with an excellent 4th place finish in the regular season under new Player/Coach Chris Harber ably supported by the evergreen Berkshire Rugby stalwart Phil Merrin. Exploiting the excellent refreshed training and changing facilities at the Berkshire Sports and Social Club, Shire Hall solidified their home ground fortress with a series of strong performances against travelling opposition. The club continues to grow to ambitious new heights after a string of new recruits signed up to play an exciting brand of running, sociable rugby. With an expansive new high quality post-training and post-match menu being turned out by the new club chef Sergei the social aspects of the club promise to continue to match the on-field ambitions for the coming season with an invigorated local community and social media profile already delivering several new players for pre-season training which kicked off this month.
